A connection that began in Poland

More than a place of origin, a lasting source of inspiration.

Andzia first encountered amber while visiting her family’s homeland in Poland in the mid-1990s. The glow in the shop windows stayed with her. A few pieces came home as gifts, then curiosity became a lifelong collection, a family business and a reason to return to the world of Baltic amber again and again.

That connection still guides what we choose. We look for jewelry that feels expressive rather than ordinary: a luminous honey stone, a deep cognac cabochon, a playful botanical detail or silverwork that gives the amber a new personality. The result is not a uniform collection. It is a changing edit of pieces that caught our attention for a reason.

Baltic Amber Earrings: “Freestyle”

Chosen from artisan workshops

Jewelry made by hands that understand amber.

Polish amber jewelry has a particular way of balancing warmth and precision. The material itself is ancient and naturally varied. The setting around it can be clean and modern, richly textured, sculptural or almost delicate enough to disappear. Skilled makers know when to let the stone lead and when a thoughtful silver detail can make it feel entirely new.

We work with small workshops and makers whose pieces carry that balance. Some designs are rooted in familiar forms such as oval studs, simple pendants and polished beads. Others lean into flowers, animals, talismans and unexpected shapes. What connects them is the feeling that a real person made a series of choices, from the amber’s cut to the curve of the setting.

Because these are artisan pieces, small details matter. The same amber color can look soft in a brushed silver frame and bright in a polished one. A visible inclusion can make a stone feel like a small landscape. An irregular edge can give a pendant more life than a perfectly uniform shape. Those are the details worth noticing before you decide what belongs in your jewelry box.

Amber pendants

A Polish amber pendant gives color a place of its own. Choose a simple stone for everyday warmth, or a detailed setting when you want the piece to start conversations.

Amber earrings

Studs are an easy signature. Drops and sculptural silhouettes bring more movement. Either way, amber near the face adds a glow that feels polished without feeling overdone.

Amber rings and bracelets

For a piece you can enjoy all day, a ring or bracelet makes the color feel especially personal. Look for a comfortable fit, an amber tone you keep returning to and silver details that suit your style.

The pleasure is in the variation

Every shade tells a slightly different story.

Amber does not come in one expected color. Honey amber has a familiar golden warmth. Cognac amber feels deeper and more classic. Lemon amber reads bright and light, while green or cherry amber can bring a surprising note to a favorite outfit. A multi-color piece lets several of those moods live together.

Clarity is part of the charm, too. Some stones are nearly transparent. Others are soft and milky, streaked with internal clouds or marked by tiny bits of ancient plant material. These natural differences are not defects. They are the reason a piece of amber feels like it belongs to one person rather than anyone.

When you choose, start with the color that makes you pause. Then notice how the silver works with it, how large the piece feels and whether it suits the way you actually dress. There is no universal “best” amber. A small, bright pair of studs can become a daily favorite, while a dramatic pendant might be exactly right for the person who wants one meaningful piece that is never overlooked.

Choosing a piece with confidence

What to look for when you buy Polish amber jewelry.

Start with the actual jewelry, not a generic idea of amber. Close photographs should show the real color and character of the piece. A good description should explain the material, metal, dimensions and any details that matter for how it wears. This is especially important with amber because natural variation is part of the point.

Consider where the jewelry will live in your wardrobe. A modest pendant or pair of small earrings can become part of an everyday routine. A wide bracelet, larger cabochon or lively multi-color design has a stronger presence and may be the piece you reach for when an outfit needs one memorable element. The best choice is the one you will enjoy wearing, not the one that simply seems safest on a screen.

Take a moment to look at the setting, too. Sterling silver makes an easy companion for amber because its cool sheen gives warm honey, cognac and cherry tones a little contrast. A smooth bezel creates a clean outline around the stone, while engraved, oxidized or more sculptural silver gives the same color a different mood. These details also help you choose a piece that feels at home with the jewelry you already wear.

Amber rewards gentle ownership. Keep it away from perfume, hairspray, solvents and hard knocks, then store it separately from harder jewelry when it is not being worn. A soft cloth is usually enough for a quick polish. Thoughtful care protects the surface and lets the natural glow remain part of the piece for years to come.

Think about gifting, too. A piece of Polish amber jewelry carries a sense of place and craftsmanship without requiring the recipient to know every detail of the material. We send each order gift boxed, and our 14-day return policy gives the recipient room to make sure the piece feels right. For more help with keeping amber beautiful, visit our Amber Care guide.

A family collection

Chosen by people who are still delighted by a beautiful piece of amber.

For more than two decades, Andzia and Holly have searched for jewelry with an individual point of view through relationships with craftspeople and small shops in Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and the United States. Their Polish roots are part of the story, but the real test is always the same: does this piece have something to say?

That personal eye is what makes the collection feel less like a catalog and more like a set of discoveries. Some pieces are classic enough to wear every day. Others are delightfully unusual. All are selected because they offer more than a pretty color: they bring a bit of history, a particular craft tradition and the pleasure of choosing something no one else would have picked in quite the same way.

About Polish amber jewelry

What makes Polish amber jewelry distinctive?

Poland has a long amber-making tradition, especially around the Baltic coast. The pieces in our collection pair natural amber with sterling silver and the individual details of small artisan workshops.

Is the amber in these pieces natural?

We select jewelry described by its maker as genuine Baltic amber. Because amber is a natural material, every stone has its own color, clarity, markings and internal character.

Will the piece I receive look exactly like the photo?

You will receive the specific piece shown whenever it is a one-of-a-kind item. Slight variation is natural in artisan-made jewelry, and we include detailed photographs so you can choose with confidence.

Does Polish amber jewelry make a good gift?

Yes. Amber brings warmth and color without needing to follow a trend, and every order arrives gift boxed. A pendant, small pair of earrings or easy bracelet is a thoughtful place to start.
