A family business built around one unforgettable journey and a lasting devotion to Baltic amber.
From Poland, with wonder.
In 1995, Andzia traveled to Poland after the loss of her father, hoping to walk the streets of his family’s homeland. In shop windows across the country, she found amber and brought a few pieces home as gifts.
That first encounter became a lifelong study of amber’s beauty, history, mythology and folklore. The first online order arrived by fax from China, at a time when an online shopping cart was still a far-off idea.
A family eye
Chosen with a personal point of view.
Holly joined the company in 2001 as art director and creative executive. Together, Andzia and Holly seek out expressive amber and sterling silver designs through relationships with craftspeople and small shops in Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and the United States.
They regularly attend Amberif in Gdańsk, a leading international amber trade fair, looking for the pieces that feel special before they ever reach a screen.
