Protect the surface
Keep amber away from solvents, chlorinated water, hairspray and perfume. Apply fragrance and hair products before putting on jewelry.
Store it thoughtfully
Wrap amber and keep it away from direct sunlight when not wearing it. Hang bead necklaces to protect their drape and prevent tangling.
Bring back the glow
If luster needs a lift, apply a tiny drop of olive oil with soft flannel. Use a silver polishing cloth to brighten sterling silver if it tarnishes.
